Start : 2004 | VFX Supervisor | Effect TD | R&D VFX

I have started 3D Animation and VFX since 2004. I have excellent knowledge to all of the essential steps from start to end for creating VFX project such as Camera Recording ( Using Markers and Green/Blue Screen ) , Modeling , Texturing , Animation , Dynamic/Effects , Lighting and Rendering , Compositing and Editing And I have proven experience in producing VFX such as Dust and Smoke , Steam , Fire , Explosions , Clouds , Water and Liquid Simulations , Ocean , Particle System , Hair and Cloth Simulation , Rigid/Soft Body , Destruction and Flocking System .

Also I was teaching VFX and 3D Animation software for 5 years like :

I’m so flexible for adapting myself in the new VFX teams with any Pipeline and software.
I worked on multiple teams and companies in my country with different pipelines and softwares and because of special situations of them , I have learned how I can work perfectly under pressure and meet deadlines .

 

Skills

Software Skill Detail :

  • Houdini :

I have worked with Houdini software for 5 years. I have extended knowledge of all VFX tools/parts in the Houdini such as Particle System , Flip Fluid , Fur , Cloth , Cloud , Pyro FX , RBD Dynamics , VEX , CHOPS , SHOP , Mantra , Compositing Network , Procedural Modeling and Creating Custom Digital Assets .
Also I’m expert in HScript/Python for creating Digital Assets , Custom Nodes like SOP Nodes , Global Python Scripts , Shelf Tools and I can create custom shaders for Mantra .

 

  • Maya:

I have worked with Maya for 10 years and I have strong knowledge of :

      • Dynamic/nDynamic ( Particle System , Rigid/Soft Body Dynamics , Fluid Effects , Cloth Simulation , Hair Simulation )
      • Modeling ( Polygon , NURBS , Subdivision )
      • Animation ( Skeleton , Character Setup , Skinning , Animation Tools , Deformers )
      • Scripting ( Expression , MEL , Python , Qt )
      • Rendering ( Mental Ray , Arnold , V Ray )
      • Paint Effects

Also I’ve worked with some powerful plug-ins and tools of Maya like Shave and Haircut , Fume FX .

I wrote some useful tools for Maya like :

      • Nuke Compositing Tool : You can composite your rendered passes directly in Maya with some powerful nodes in the Nuke without opening .
      • RSL Shaders to Hypershade : Very useful tool for converting RSL shader files to Standard Maya Materials that can be used in the Hypershade window ,This Tools generates Maya Plug-in file automatically .
      • Maya Animation Library : A useful tool for saving animation datas ( e.g Run , Dance , Walk , Jump ) in the Library for animators with search and preview feature .

Also  I’m familiar with Maya API ( specially on polygons/materials classes )

 

  • Rendering:

I can work with RenderMan , Arnold , Mental Ray  and Mantra perfectly .
I’m expert in all of the Lighting/Rendering techniques such as Indoor and Outdoor Lighting , GI , FG , AO , Caustic , Multi Pass Rendering , Creating Custom Materials (Mantra) , Volumetric Rendering , Atmosphere , Fog and HDR Lighting .

 

  • NUKE/Compositing:

I have worked with Nuke for 5 year ( I had been working with Combustion for 5 years before Nuke ) and I’m expert in all of the compositing process such as Chroma key , 2D/3D Tracking , Color Correction , Deep Compositing , 3D Compositing , Multi Pass Compositing and …
Also I am working with some other softwares which is useful in the CameraTracking such as Match Mover and PF Track .
I have excellent knowledge for seamless compositing of live action and CG elements with a keen eye for details .

  • Programming :

I have 8 years experiences of writing C++ codes ( Classes , Pointers , Dynamic and Static Library on both Linux and Windows )
Also I’m familiar with some C++ tools and library such as MFC , Boost Library , Embedded Python on C++ and …
And I worked with OpenGL , GLSL ,  DirectX , HLSL , FMOD and nVidia PhysX for my personal projects .
I used C++ for writing some custom format for exporting Meshes , Lights , 3D Sound , Materials and Camera from Maya to my custom Real Time Rendering Engine ( simple personal project )
I have good knowledge to Windows platform ( Registery , Services , System Files ) for writing some custom console softwares and tools .
